Who we are

Simlord is made by Weblord, a sole proprietorship registered in the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 70417032), Emmastraat 15, 4381 BD Vlissingen. Weblord is responsible for the personal data described here. You can reach us at support@simlord.eu.

What stays on your computer

The pages you open in Simlord, your screenshots, recordings and settings stay in your browser. They are never sent to us. The free version of Simlord sends us nothing at all.

What we keep when you buy PRO

Your email address, the language you bought in, the country your payment came from, the payment method and the invoice.

We need these to give you your licence, to let you sign in on other browsers, to send your receipt and to meet our tax obligations. We use them because of our agreement with you and because the law requires it.

What PRO sends while you use it

Once a day the extension renews your licence with our server. If you add custom devices, their names and sizes are stored with your licence, so they also appear on your other browsers. To sign in on another browser, we email you a one-time code.

This website

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or tracking. Our server keeps short technical logs, including IP addresses, to protect the service against abuse. They are overwritten within a few weeks.

Who helps us

Mollie B.V. (the Netherlands) handles payments; we never see your card or bank details. Resend (United States) sends our emails; where data leaves the European Union, it is protected by the standard contractual clauses of the European Commission. IONOS (Germany) hosts our server. Google offers the extension in the Chrome Web Store under its own privacy policy.

Each of them only gets what it needs for its part.

How long we keep it

Invoices and the payment details on them for seven years, as Dutch tax law requires. Sign-in codes for one day after they expire. Your licence and custom devices for as long as you use PRO, or until you ask us to remove them.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct, export or remove your data, or object to how we use it. Write to support@simlord.eu; we answer within a month.

You can also complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens).

Changes

When this policy changes, the new version appears here with a new date.
